First Annual Membership Meeting

A hearty thank-you to every member and friend of Headwaters Community Trust who attended the First Annual Membership Meeting on December 9.

The members present ratified the trust’s bylaws and elected directors for 2026: Bill Day, Mike Reddy, Meryl Friets, Carey Crozier, Leslie Taylor, Linda Ramsdell, Rick Morrill, and Bill Berman.

The business portion of the meeting was followed by a lively discussion about housing issues, the community land trust model, and Headwaters’ plans and aspirations for the coming year.

What’s Next?

Following a holiday break, the first elected board will meet in early January to elect officers, organize work groups, and continue working to create accessible housing through community-led development on community-owned land.

The coming year will bring new opportunities for Headwaters members to engage with the Trust at a level that aligns with their skills, time, and interests.
